Dr. Salud Mendoza is a board-certified adult and geriatric psychiatrist licensed to practice medicine in the state of New Hampshire. She completed residency training in General Psychiatry at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in 2011.  She completed some specialty training in geriatric psychiatry at Columbia University in New York City, New York.

She is currently affiliated with Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire in the Behavioral Health Unit.  She has been treating psychiatric needs in the geriatric population both in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

Dr. Mendoza ensures that psychiatric medication and psychotherapy treatment regimens are individualized with consideration of clinical evidence, history, prior treatment, and medical conditions.  She works closely with patients to educate about medication risks, benefits, and treatment options to allow informed decision making. She ensures coordination of care with other health care providers to enhance quality of care.
